Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Landscaping Supervisor to join our team at Select Landscaping and Construction Inc. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and maintenance of our landscaping projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Planning: Develop and implement comprehensive plans for landscaping projects, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
  • Team Management: Supervise and coordinate the work of our landscaping team, ensuring that projects are completed on time and to the highest standards.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Oversee the maintenance and repair of our equipment and vehicles, ensuring that they are in good working condition at all times.
  • Material Procurement: Source and procure materials and supplies necessary for landscaping projects, ensuring that they meet our quality standards.
  • Client Communication: Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and expectations, and to ensure that their projects are completed to their satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in landscaping or a related field.
  • Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Equipment and Machinery Experience: Experience with pick-up trucks and other landscaping equipment.
  • Area of Work Experience: Experience in snow removal and grounds maintenance.
  • Area of Specialization: Grounds maintenance and landscape construction.
  • Security and Safety: Basic security clearance and a valid driver's license.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with tight deadlines and heavy physical demands.
