Job Title: Labourer, Grounds Maintenance

Ontario Inc is seeking a reliable and skilled Labourer, Grounds Maintenance to join our team. As a Labourer, Grounds Maintenance, you will be responsible for maintaining the grounds of our properties, ensuring they are clean, safe, and visually appealing.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with landscape constructions, including planting, pruning, and trimming trees and plants.
  • Operate and maintain landscape maintenance equipment, such as lawn mowers and trimmers.
  • Remove litter and garbage, and cart and spread topsoil and other materials as needed.
  • Perform snow maintenance operations, including handling snowmaking and snow removal equipment.
  • Water and tend to plants, lawns, and/or gardens, and repair and maintain equipment.
  • Assist with laying sod or seed, and plant bulbs, flowers, shrubs, and trees.
Requirements:
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma is required, but experience is an asset.
  • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • Physical stamina to perform manual labor.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
Working Conditions:
  • Work site environment: outdoors.
  • Hours of work: 32 to 40 hours per week.
  • Language of work: English.
