Key Responsibilities:
  • Direct and Control Daily Operations: Plan, organize, and direct the daily activities of our retail store, ensuring seamless execution of sales, customer service, and inventory management.
  • Manage Staff and Assign Duties: Supervise and motivate a team of 3-4 employees, assigning tasks and responsibilities to ensure efficient store operations.
  • Study Market Research and Trends: Analyze market research and trends to determine consumer demand, potential sales volumes, and competitor activity, informing sales and inventory decisions.
  • Locate and Procure Merchandise: Source and purchase merchandise for resale, ensuring high-quality products and competitive pricing.
  • Resolve Issues and Improve Operations: Address customer complaints, supply shortages, and other issues, implementing process improvements to enhance store efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Work Setting: Retail service establishment, retail business, or retail/wholesale establishment/distribution centre.
  • Computer and Technology Knowledge: Point of sale system and accounting software proficiency.
  • Area of Specialization: Shipping and receiving, trading, and security and safety.
  • Experience: 5 years or more in a retail management role, with a strong background in sales, customer service, and inventory management.
