Retail Store Supervisor Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Retail Store Supervisor to join our team at Ontario Inc O/A Gourmet Food Grocery Store.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assign sales workers to duties and ensure efficient store operations.
  • Hire, train, and develop staff to meet business needs.
  • Authorize payments, manage inventory, and maintain accurate records.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to drive business growth.
  • Resolve customer complaints and supply chain issues in a timely manner.
  • Supervise and coordinate activities of cashiers, retail salespersons, and sales clerks.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in retail management.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
