We are seeking a skilled Hospitalist to join our team at the South Shore Regional Hospital in Bridgewater, Nova Scotia. As a Hospitalist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our hospital.
Key Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive medical care to patients in the hospital setting
- Coordinate care and services with other healthcare professionals
- Participate in quality improvement and evaluation activities to enhance patient outcomes
- Collaborate with the medical team to develop and implement care plans
- Ensure timely and effective communication with patients, families, and healthcare teams
To be successful in this role, you must be a fully licensed physician or eligible for full or restricted licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Nova Scotia. You should also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
