Physician - Hospitalist

The Nova Scotia Health Authority is seeking experienced physicians to join our Hospitalist program at South Shore Regional Hospital. Our program provides opportunities for physicians to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while delivering high-quality patient care.
The Hospitalist program at South Shore Regional Hospital is a 7-day on, 7-day off schedule with 8:00 am to 5:00 pm shifts and call required 2 to 3 nights per week. Our hospital is a friendly and collegial workplace where everyone knows your name, and we provide ample support and a rewarding work experience.
- Provide care and coordination of community-based care, and secondary and tertiary level healthcare
- Operate within the Bylaws and Rules and Regulations of Nova Scotia Health Authority
- Participate in quality improvement and evaluation activities
- Eligible for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Nova Scotia
- Coverage with the Canadian Medical Protective Association, or proof of alternative coverage
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS)
