Key Responsibilities
- Overseeing a team of 15-20 associates.
- Coordinating with other departments regarding inventory shortages and delays.
- Entering data related to work orders and associated tasks.
- Conducting inventory checks and placing transfer orders as necessary.
- Providing training and coaching to team members.
- Suggesting systems and processes to help achieve team KPIs.
- Maintaining accurate records of quality assurance documentation.
- Ensuring organization within the production area.
- Setting up the production line, including machinery.
- Implementing FIFO (First In, First Out) practices.
- Assigning tasks based on work orders.
- Identifying and flagging potential delays to the Zero Waste Supervisor.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in food preparation, restaurant, warehouse, or a busy retail setting preferred.
- Previous leadership experience is advantageous.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced warehouse environment with strict deadlines.
- Comfortable working in a temperature-controlled setting, maintained between 0 to 10 degrees Celsius.
- Highly skilled in multitasking.
- Detail-oriented and meticulous in your work.
- Capable of standing for extended periods during shifts.
- Able to lift and move objects weighing up to 50 lbs (23 kgs).
- Punctuality is essential.
