Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for directing and coordinating the work of hourly employees to meet production schedules, ensuring that machines operate within established parameters and that final products conform to quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Direct and coordinate the work of hourly employees to meet production schedules.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of production processes and controls.
  • Complete and verify the accuracy of production, warehousing, shipping, and line reports.
  • Approve employee time records and maintain accurate personnel records.
  • Identify training needs and coordinate employee training and development.
  • Promote safe work behavior and maintain a record of no lost-time accidents.
  • Ensure proper housekeeping practices and maintain a clean work environment.
  • Identify and implement adjustments to labor, equipment, or processes to improve efficiency.
Requirements
  • 35 years supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment required.
  • Lead and direct hourly production employees.
  • Ensure adherence to production schedules, quality standards, and Health & Safety procedures.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Technical proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Etime systems.
  • Effective verbal communication skills with employees.
  • Ability to apply mathematical concepts to practical situations.
  • Ability to follow written, oral, or diagrammatic instructions and resolve problems.
