Job Title: Stucco Plasterer

We are seeking a skilled Stucco Plasterer to join our team at Friends Construction Inc.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for applying, leveling, and smoothing coats of plaster to create a smooth and durable finish. The ideal candidate will have experience working with stucco and plaster, and be able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities
  • Apply, level, and smooth coats of plaster to create a smooth and durable finish
  • Clean and prepare surfaces for plastering
  • Cure freshly plastered surfaces to ensure a strong bond
  • Finish corners and angles, and create decorative designs in the finish coat as required
  • Mix plaster ingredients to the desired consistency
  • Mould and install ornamental plaster panels, cornices, and trim
  • Trowel or spray coats of stucco over exteriors of buildings to form weatherproof surfaces
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience an asset, or equivalent experience
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately
  • Ability to lift and move heavy materials
Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced construction environment, with regular exposure to dust, noise, and physical activity.
