Employment Details

QualificationsEducation
  • Completion of Secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
Experience
  • Previous experience is an asset, but we are willing to train the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities
  • Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues professionally.
  • Ensure safe loading and unloading of cargo.
  • Acquire necessary permits for transporting goods across borders.
  • Operate and drive both straight and articulated trucks.
  • Conduct brake adjustments and perform emergency roadside repairs as needed.
  • Carry out thorough inspections of the vehicle before, during, and after trips.
  • Maintain accurate records of cargo, service hours, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
  • Ensure the safety and security of cargo during transport.
  • Handle and transport hazardous materials in compliance with regulations.
Required Certifications
  • Valid Driver's License (Class 1 or A, Class 3 or D)
  • Air Brakes Endorsement
  • Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) Certificate
  • Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate
  • First Aid and CPR Certificates
