The Role

Edmonton Kenworth Ltd. is seeking a skilled Journeyman Heavy Duty Truck Mechanic to join our Lloydminster team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing vehicle repairs and maintenance work in accordance with dealer and factory standards.

Responsibilities

Perform high-quality work with minimal supervision, overseeing the work of apprentices assigned to you.

Adjust and repair equipment, replacing defective parts, components, or systems as needed.

Install new or replacement parts according to specifications, ensuring seamless integration.

Test repaired equipment to ensure proper performance and adherence to manufacturers' specifications and regulations.

Ensure completion of all repairs, maintenance requirements, and modifications to trucks or other assigned vehicles.

Stay up-to-date with the latest technology and attend training sessions as they become available.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of:

  • A High school diploma
  • A Journeyman Heavy Equipment Technician with heavy truck experience
  • Preferred Heavy Duty Truck dealership experience
  • Experience in Dyno operation/troubleshooting and Cummins training would be an asset
