QHSE Manager

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled QHSE Manager to join our team at Prysmian Group. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of quality, health, safety, and environment in our manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Policy and Procedure Development: Develop, implement, and maintain policies and procedures to ensure compliance with QHSE management systems and relevant regulations.
- Regulatory Compliance: Interpret applicable regulations and prepare action plans to ensure continuous compliance with all permits, regulations, and environmental requirements.
- Team Engagement and Safety Culture: Foster a positive safety culture and engage with team members to promote a Zero and beyond culture.
- ISO Certifications: Lead and maintain ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001 certifications, conduct internal and external audits, and meet with regulators as needed.
- Safety Committees and Communication: Lead the site's safety committees and communicate effectively with team members.
- Training Needs Analysis: Collaborate with the plant management team to assess training needs and provide technical support.
- Meeting Participation: Participate in key QHSE team meetings, Kaizen/Gemba events, and other essential meetings.
- Quality Management: Establish, implement, lead, and maintain the quality management system.
- Audit and Complaint Process: Manage the internal audit process and support process engineering to handle customer complaints.
- Equipment Inspections: Conduct inspections for all testing and manufacturing equipment to ensure compliance with company safety regulations.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in engineering or a technical diploma in quality, health, safety, and environment combined with an undergraduate degree or similar.
- Experience: At least 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, including expertise in government compliance, occupational health and safety, risk analysis, and process-related risks.
- Language Skills: Proficiency in French and English (both spoken and written).
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in technologies such as Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and other standard computer applications. Previous knowledge and experience with SAP is an asset.
