Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Operations Supervisor to join our team at Haulster Transport Ltd. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for coordinating activities with other work units or departments, preparing and submitting reports, and resolving work problems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinating Activities: Work closely with other departments to ensure seamless operations and achieve business objectives.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and submit regular reports to management, providing insights and recommendations for process improvements.
  • Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve operational issues, providing technical advice and recommending measures to improve productivity and product quality.
  • Training and Development: Train workers in duties and policies, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their jobs effectively.
  • Performance Management: Conduct performance reviews, providing feedback and coaching to employees to help them improve their performance.
  • Operational Planning: Plan, organize, and oversee the operational logistics of the organization, ensuring that operations are running efficiently and effectively.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a supervisory or management role.
  • Work Setting: Transportation industry, private sector.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Attention to detail, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and physical demands of the job.
