As a Communicative Disorders Assistant CDA, you will work under the direction of qualified speech-language pathologists to facilitate the delivery of speech-language pathology treatment for our clients.
Responsibilities:- Support the recommendations made by speech-language pathologists regarding cognitive-communication disorders, language, dysphagia, speech, voice, and fluency.
- Provide client and family-centred care, which is goal directed, evidence based and outcome oriented.
- Plan creative and meaningful treatment activities that are individualized to meet a client's needs and interests.
- Record data relative to client performance and report changes in client performance/status to the supervising speech-language pathologist.
- Autonomy over schedule and flexibility allowing for work-life balance.
- Stability of working with a company with over 20 years' experience.
