The Culinary Support Team Member is essential in our facility, enriching the lives of our residents and promoting meaningful interactions.

This is a Full-Time role requiring 75 hours every two weeks. The work schedule is from Wednesday to Sunday, with shifts from 11:00 AM to 7:30 PM.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and organize equipment and materials for meal preparation.
  • Cook meals according to established recipes and standards.
  • Ensure the quality and quantity of food supplies are maintained.
  • Assist with food service during special events.
  • Carry out designated cleaning duties to maintain a hygienic kitchen environment.
Qualifications:
  • Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent.
  • At least one year of experience in large-scale food preparation.
  • Possession of a valid Safe Food Handling Certificate.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • A positive demeanor and the ability to uphold our service standards.
Preferred Skills:
  • Smart Serve Certificate is considered an asset.
