About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Culinary Specialist to join our team at Sandstone Motel & Lounge and Sandstone Gas Plus. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook a variety of dishes, including meals and individual foods, to meet the needs of our guests.
  • Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure cleanliness and organization.
  • Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment to optimize kitchen operations.
  • Clean kitchen and work areas to maintain a safe and healthy environment.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role.
  • Excellent oral communication skills and ability to work under pressure.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and maintain a physically demanding work environment.
