About the Role

Culligan Cranbrook is seeking a skilled Delivery Courier to join our team. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for delivering and picking up messages, parcels, and other items by hand, as well as operating and driving automobiles, vans, and light trucks to pick up and deliver various items and products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Delivery and Pick-up Services: Deliver and pick up messages, parcels, and other items by hand, ensuring timely and efficient service to our customers.
  • Vehicle Operations: Operate and drive automobiles, vans, and light trucks to pick up and deliver various items and products, adhering to all safety and regulatory requirements.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring professionalism and courtesy in all interactions with customers.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of items received and delivered, as well as trip information such as vehicle mileage, fuel costs, and any problems encountered.
  • Inventory Management: Prepare, package, and restock goods, ensuring accurate inventory levels and efficient storage.
  • Load and Unload: Load and unload goods, adhering to all safety and regulatory requirements.
Work Environment

This role requires working in various locations, with the ability to lift up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs) and work in a fast-paced environment.

Support for Newcomers and Refugees
  • Recruitment and Support: Recruit and support newcomers and/or refugees who were displaced by a conflict or a natural disaster, providing assistance with foreign credential recognition.
  • Language Support: Provide language support to newcomers and/or refugees, ensuring they have the necessary tools to succeed in their new environment.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Will train.
  • Work Term: Permanent.
  • Work Language: English.
  • Hours: 40 hours per week.
