Key Responsibilities- Market Research and Analysis
- Conduct thorough market research to identify trends and opportunities in the industry.
- Analyze market data to inform purchasing decisions.
- Supplier Relationships
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of products.
- Negotiate pricing and terms with suppliers to maximize value for L'OCA Quality Market.
- Inventory Management
- Manage inventory levels to ensure optimal stock levels and minimize waste.
- Monitor inventory turnover and adjust purchasing strategies accordingly.
- Customer Service
- Provide excellent customer service to internal stakeholders, including store managers and buyers.
- Respond to customer inquiries and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Team Leadership
- Supervise and mentor junior buyers to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in their roles.
- Collaborate with other members of the procurement team to achieve departmental goals.
- Qualifications
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience
- 1-2 years of experience in purchasing or procurement.
- Dental and health care plans provided.
- Employment Type: Permanent.
- Language: English.
- Hours: 30-40 per week.
