Security Supervisor

Mount Alverno Resort and Retreat is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our resort operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our guests and staff.
Key Responsibilities:- Schedule Work: Plan and coordinate the work schedules of security personnel to ensure adequate coverage and effective use of resources.
- Maintenance and Repair: Arrange for maintenance and repair work to be performed on resort facilities and equipment.
- Emergency Response: Serve as the primary point of contact for emergency situations and coordinate responses with other departments as needed.
- Coordination: Collaborate with other work units and departments to ensure seamless operations and effective communication.
- Quality Monitoring: Regularly monitor quality and production levels to identify areas for improvement.
- Reporting: Prepare and submit progress reports and other documentation as required.
- Supply Management: Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed.
- Problem-Solving: Resolve work problems, provide technical advice, and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality.
- Staff Supervision: Supervise, coordinate, and schedule the activities of security personnel, including training and performance evaluations.
- Training and Development: Train staff in job duties, safety procedures, and company policies.
- Work Scheduling: Establish work schedules and procedures to ensure efficient operations.
- Certifications: CPR Certificate, First Aid Certificate, and Security Guard License.
- Work Environment: Combination of sitting, standing, and walking in a fast-paced environment.
- Physical Demands: Standing for extended periods and working under pressure.
- Personal Suitability: Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills, judgment, organization, reliability, and teamwork.
- Work Term: Permanent.
- Work Language: English.
- Hours: 35 to 40 hours per week.
