Job Title: Information Systems Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Information Systems Specialist to join our team at The Duncan Academy. As an Information Systems Specialist, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise and support to our staff and students.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Confer with clients to identify requirements and provide advice on information systems strategy, policy, management, and service delivery.
  • Assess physical and technical security risks to data, software, and hardware, and develop policies, procedures, and contingency plans to minimize the effects of security breaches.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures throughout the software development life cycle, and conduct reviews to assess quality assurance practices, software products, and information systems.
  • Resolve conflict situations, conduct usability testing, and execute and document results of software application tests and information and telecommunication systems tests.
Requirements:
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field.
  • College/CEGEP diploma or equivalent education.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Fast-paced environment and tight deadlines.
