Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Pharmacist to join our team at Save-On-Foods. As a valued member of our pharmacy team, you will play a critical role in delivering quality patient-centred care and contributing to the success of our company.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage Day-to-Day Pharmacy Operations: Oversee the dispensing of medications, maximize clinical opportunities, and administer vaccinations to patients.
  • Maintain Inventory: Ensure that the pharmacy's inventory is accurately managed and maintained within established guidelines.
  • Ensure Compliance: Ensure that all pharmacy operations are in compliance with Provincial and Federal regulations, policies, and procedures.
  • Stay Current with Industry Trends: Remain up-to-date on the latest trends and developments in the pharmacy industry, including new medications and clinical opportunities.
  • Provide Private Consultations: Offer private consultations to patients while maintaining a patient-centred care culture.
  • Provide Clinical Services: Provide clinical services, including medication management and health screening, to patients.
Requirements
  • Canadian Pharmacist Licence: Hold a valid Canadian Pharmacist licence and be in good standing with the respective College of Pharmacists.
  • Injection Certification: Possess injection certification.
  • Pharmacy Software Proficiency: Be proficient in Pharmacy Software solutions, preferably Kroll.
  • Opioid Agonist Treatment Experience: Have experience with Opioid Agonist Treatment (OAT) and completed mandatory training when required.
  • Clinical Knowledge: Possess the ability to assess, plan, and apply clinical knowledge when required.
  • Additional Training or Certifications: Possess additional training or certifications (considered an asset).
