We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Cashier Associate to join our team at 88 Supermarket Ltd.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Greet and assist customers with questions, recommendations, and retrieving items.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support in emergency situations, informing management immediately.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries, ensuring every item is scanned.
  • Process checkout and obtain payment, balancing and reconciling cash at the end of each shift.
  • Achieve daily cashier metrics and KPIs, staying aware of store promotions and rebates.
  • Maintain a clean and organized retail area, adhering to company policies and procedures.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Cash-handling and customer service experience is preferred, with excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to count money efficiently and accurately, multitask, and work independently or as part of a team.
  • Flexible to work various shifts, including days, evenings, overnights, and weekends.
  • Able to stand and walk for extended periods.
Working Conditions:

Full-time position, 35-40 hours per week, with a competitive hourly wage of $18 (negotiable).
