Job Title: ECE Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and caring ECE Assistant to join our team at First Smiles Daycare. As an ECE Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the daily activities and care of our children.

Responsibilities:
  • Assess and Support Child Development: Work with our early childhood educators to assess the children's development and create personalized learning plans to meet their unique needs.
  • Assist with Daily Activities: Assist with housekeeping, cooking, and other duties to ensure a safe and healthy environment for our children.
  • Maintain a Safe and Engaging Environment: Maintain daycare equipment, engage children in activities, and encourage creativity through art, music, and physical activity.
  • Support Early Childhood Educators: Assist early childhood educators in carrying out programs that promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.
  • Order Supplies and Equipment: Order necessary supplies and equipment to support our programs and activities.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a daycare or childcare setting
  • Language: English
  • Work Hours: 30 hours per week
