Job Title: Early Childhood Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and caring Early Childhood Assistant to join our team at Lullaboo Aurora Inc. As an Early Childhood Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the daily operations of our childcare centre and ensuring the well-being and development of our young children.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist early childhood educators in carrying out programs that promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.
  • Engage children in activities by telling stories, teaching songs, and preparing crafts.
  • Guide and assist children in the development of proper eating, dressing, and toilet habits.
  • Prepare snacks and arrange rooms or furniture for lunch and rest periods.
  • Submit written observations on children to early childhood educators or supervisors.
  • Attend staff meetings to discuss progress and problems of children.
Requirements:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a childcare setting.
  • First Aid Certificate and CPR Certificate.
  • Medical exam and Tuberculosis test.
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent oral communication and interpersonal skills.
