Job Summary:

The District of Saanich is seeking a skilled Business Systems Analyst to join our IT team. As a Business Systems Analyst, you will play a crucial role in identifying business needs and developing solutions to drive business growth and improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Elicit and document business requirements through interviews, document analysis, workshops, and business process descriptions.
  • Lead and contribute to challenging and creative initiatives as part of the Saanich IT team.
  • Engage as the key partner to manage business continuity between IT and the business in all aspects of technology services.
  • Develop and implement business solutions that meet organizational goals and objectives.

Requirements:

  • University Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Communications, or Business.
  • Associate's Certificate in Business Analysis from a recognized program or institution.
  • At least six years of experience in business analysis in IT with relevant experience in project delivery and application life cycle support.
  • Experience in Project Management and Change Management methodologies.
  • ITIL Foundation v3 certification is an asset.
