About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Transport Truck Mechanic to join our team at H C Transport Inc. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our fleet of commercial transport trucks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on commercial transport trucks, including adjustments, replacements, and inspections of parts and components.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues with transport trucks, using your expertise to identify and resolve problems efficiently.
  • Conduct thorough inspections of transport trucks to identify potential issues and prevent breakdowns.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless maintenance and repair operations.
  • Stay up-to-date with manufacturer specifications and industry best practices to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
Requirements
  • Truck and Transport Mechanic Trade Certification or equivalent.
  • Motor Vehicle Inspector Certificate or equivalent.
  • First Aid Certificate or equivalent.
  • 1-2 years of experience in heavy-duty mechanics or a related field.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
