About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Instrumentation Technician to join our team at Mondi. As a key player in our continuous improvement effort, you will be responsible for implementing predictive and preventative maintenance strategies to optimize our processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to a Safe Work Environment
  • Perform routine maintenance on control system components, instrumentation, and valves to ensure optimal performance
  • Analyze process variations and anomalies, and collaborate with operations to develop effective solutions
  • Troubleshoot, repair, calibrate, and install a wide range of instrumentation, control, and analyzer systems
  • Install new instrumentation and electrical equipment throughout our facility
  • Participate in on-call rotation and shift coverage to support plant operations
Requirements
  • Mechanical, Hydraulic, and Pneumatic Knowledge
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
  • Demonstrated problem-solving, troubleshooting, and analytical skills
  • Proficiency in DeltaV DCS and PLC systems
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently using available resources
  • A desire to progress, learn, grow, and succeed
  • Education and/or Experience
    • A valid Instrumentation certification and/or Interprovincial Red Seal certification
    • Two years of experience in an operating industrial environment
