Educational Requirements
  • Completion of secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
Key Responsibilities
  • Replace damaged webbing, springs, and various components of furniture.
  • Cut, fabricate, and install upholstery materials with precision.
  • Apply ornamental trims, braids, or buttons using tacks, glue, or sewing techniques.
  • Repair and refinish furniture frames, enhancing their durability and appearance.
  • Utilize sewing machines or hand-sewing methods to achieve high-quality finishes.
  • Enhance the aesthetics of seats by garnishing with interwoven rattan.
Industry Experience
  • Experience in the furniture and fixtures manufacturing sector.
  • Background in furniture upholstery and repair services.
Specialization
  • Expertise in furniture upholstery.
Work Environment and Physical Requirements
  • Demonstrated manual dexterity and attention to detail.
  • Strong hand-eye coordination and ability to distinguish colors.
  • Comfortable with sitting, bending, crouching, and kneeling for extended periods.
Experience Level
  • 1 to 2 years of relevant experience is preferred.
