Job Title: Warehouse Manager

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Warehouse Manager to join our team at City Furniture & Appliances Ltd.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer contracts for the provision of supplies and services, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
  • Develop and implement schedules and procedures for safety inspections and preventive maintenance programs, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Direct the maintenance and repair of our establishment's machinery, equipment, and electrical and mechanical systems, minimizing downtime and optimizing efficiency.
  • Hire and oversee training and supervision of staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
  • Plan and manage the facility's operations budget, ensuring effective resource allocation and cost control.
Work Environment:

Our warehouse operates in a fast-paced environment, requiring strong organizational and time management skills.

Requirements:
  • Excellent oral communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with staff, suppliers, and customers.
  • Team player with a strong work ethic and ability to work independently.
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role, with a strong understanding of warehouse operations and management principles.
  • Permanent employment with a 30 to 40 hour workweek, with opportunities for professional growth and development.
  • Fluency in English, with the ability to communicate effectively with staff and customers.
