Key Responsibilities- Production Management: Oversee the preparation and baking of dough, batters, and icings for a variety of bread and pastry products.
- Team Leadership: Supervise and train a team of baking personnel, providing guidance and support to ensure that they are meeting production standards and quality expectations.
- Inventory Management: Requisition and order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed to maintain optimal inventory levels.
- Quality Control: Inspect and ensure that all products meet established standards of quality and presentation.
- Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers, responding to their needs and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Operational Efficiency: Analyze and improve production processes to increase efficiency and reduce waste.
- Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1-2 years.
- Experience: 1-2 years of experience in a bakery or food production environment.
- Language: English.
- Transportation: Own transportation and a valid driver's license.
- Work Environment: Fast-paced bakery environment with frequent standing, walking, and lifting.
- Physical Demands: Physically demanding, requiring manual dexterity, attention to detail, and ability to work in a team environment.
