We are seeking a skilled Pizza Cook to join our team at Pizza Pizza. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality pizzas and other menu items to meet the needs of our customers.
Key Responsibilities- Food Preparation: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods, including pizzas, salads, and sandwiches.
- Customer Service: Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances, and ensure that all menu items are prepared to meet the highest standards of quality and safety.
- Kitchen Management: Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure that they are clean and well-maintained, and train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food.
- Inventory Management: Order supplies and equipment, and maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment.
- Cleaning and Organization: Clean kitchen and work areas, and organize buffets and banquets.
As a Pizza Cook at Pizza Pizza, you will work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on providing excellent customer service and ensuring that all menu items are prepared to meet the highest standards of quality and safety.
Requirements- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a kitchen or food service environment.
- Work Setting: Fast food outlet or concession.
- Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Attention to detail, fast-paced environment, repetitive tasks, standing for extended periods, and working under pressure.
- Personal Suitability: Client focus, dependability, excellent oral communication, flexibility, initiative, judgement, organized, reliability, and team player.
