About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Asphalt Spreader Technician to join our team at Taha Development Group Inc. As an Asphalt Spreader Technician, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining heavy equipment, including asphalt spreaders, to ensure efficient and safe construction processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and maintain asphalt spreaders, ensuring optimal performance and safety
  • Assist in drilling and blasting rock on construction sites, using specialized equipment and techniques
  • Operate bridge or overhead cranes to lift, move, and place plant machinery and materials
  • Assist in framing houses, erecting walls, and building roofs, using a variety of construction materials
  • Pave and rake asphalt, ensuring smooth and even surfaces
  • Assist in demolishing buildings, using heavy equipment and safety protocols
  • Clean and pile salvaged materials, maintaining a safe and organized work environment
Requirements
  • Construction Safety Training Systems (CSTS) Certificate
  • First Aid Certificate
  • Experience with heavy equipment operation and maintenance
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced construction environment
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
