Linds & Associates is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Financial Data Clerk to join our team. As a key member of our accounting department, you will be responsible for providing exceptional support in financial data management, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and process financial documents, including trust cheques, receipts, and wire transfers.
  • Manage client-related accounts payable and ensure timely disbursements.
  • Process credit card payments and maintain accurate records.
  • Input closed file numbers and run monthly AR reminders.
  • Provide backup support for billing, opening files, and cash receipts.
  • Perform other duties as required to support the accounting team.

Requirements:

  • Diploma/Certificate in accounting or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in a similar role in a law firm or accounting environment.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Working knowledge of PCLaw is a must.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in a litigation practice or with government clients.
