About the Role

Folasade Wenegieme is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Home Childcare Provider to join our team. As a Home Childcare Provider, you will be responsible for providing top-notch care and education to children in a home-based setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Childcare and Education: Develop and implement engaging and educational activities for children, promoting their cognitive, emotional, and social development.
  • Household Management: Maintain a clean and safe home environment, including laundry, meal preparation, and light housekeeping.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure the health and safety of children in your care, including administering medication, handling emergencies, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with parents and caregivers, providing regular updates on children's activities, meals, and any issues that may arise.
  • Teamwork: Collaborate with other childcare providers and support staff to ensure a smooth and efficient operation.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in childcare or a related field.
  • Certifications: CPR Certificate and First Aid Certificate.
  • Personal Qualities: Excellent oral communication, initiative, judgement, organized, reliability, time management, patience, and honesty.
