As a Network Systems Technician at 555 Wireless Ltd., you will play a crucial role in maintaining and optimizing our network infrastructure. Your expertise will ensure seamless connectivity and efficient operations within our telecommunications environment.
Educational Requirements- Completion of a college, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma program lasting between 3 months to less than 1 year.
- Engagement within the telecommunications sector.
- Collaboration with a telecommunications service provider.
- Administer, troubleshoot, and maintain local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), mainframe networks, and associated computer workstations and peripherals.
- Assess and install computer hardware, networking software, and operating system software.
- Provide effective problem-solving support to network users.
- Implement security protocols for data, software, and hardware.
- Conduct routine network startups and shutdowns while maintaining accurate control records.
- Perform data backups and manage disaster recovery processes.
- Establish local area networks and facilitate Internet connectivity.
- Utilize network traffic and security monitoring tools to enhance server performance.
Oversee a team of 3-4 individuals.
Experience Requirements- Minimum of 1 year and less than 2 years of relevant experience.
- Permanent position.
- Working language: English.
- Work hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.
