We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team at Lake House Restaurant. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading the kitchen and ensuring that our guests receive an exceptional dining experience.
Key Responsibilities- Menu Planning and Execution
Develop and implement menus that showcase our culinary expertise and meet the tastes and preferences of our guests.
Food Preparation and PresentationPrepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods to the highest standards of quality and presentation.
Inventory Management and Supply ChainRequisition food and kitchen supplies, and manage inventory levels to ensure that we have the necessary ingredients and equipment to meet our culinary needs.
Team Leadership and TrainingTrain and supervise kitchen staff and helpers to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge necessary to perform their duties effectively.
Quality Control and AssuranceInspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure that they meet our high standards of cleanliness and safety.
Requirements- Education and Experience
College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year, and 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a similar role.
Work SettingRestaurant environment with a focus on providing exceptional customer service and ensuring that our guests receive a high-quality dining experience.
LanguageEnglish language proficiency is required.
