Job Summary: We are in search of a passionate and dedicated Toddler Teacher to become a part of our team. The ideal candidate will possess a sincere affection for working with toddlers and a comprehensive understanding of early childhood development. As a Toddler Teacher, you will be instrumental in fostering a positive and enriching environment that nurtures the social, emotional, cognitive, and physical growth of our toddlers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and execute age-appropriate curriculum and activities that enhance toddler development.
- Encourage a warm, caring, and inclusive classroom atmosphere where every child feels valued and respected.
- Track and document each child's progress, adapting teaching methods as necessary to cater to individual developmental needs.
- Engage in effective communication with parents and guardians, providing regular updates on their child's development and addressing any concerns.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all children by following safety protocols and maintaining a tidy and organized classroom.
- Collaborate with fellow educators and staff to cultivate a cohesive and supportive team environment.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and training to remain informed about best practices in early childhood education.
Qualifications:
- Early Childhood Education certification.
- A minimum of one full year of experience working with toddlers in a licensed childcare environment.
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire).
- Strong knowledge of toddler development and age-appropriate practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Patience, creativity, and a genuine passion for working with young children.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
