Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Second Cup Cafe. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction and quality of service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and Co-ordinate Activities: Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Train Staff: Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to ensure that all team members are equipped to provide excellent customer service.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, maintaining the highest level of customer satisfaction.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage to inform business decisions.
  • Team Management: Supervise and check the assembly of trays and delivery of food trolleys, ensuring that all team members are working efficiently and effectively.
Requirements:
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a similar role.
  • Certifications: Safe Food Handling certificate.
  • Personal Suitability: Excellent interpersonal skills, flexibility, and a team player attitude.
Work Environment:

This is a permanent position, working 35 hours per week. The language of work is English.
