We are in search of approachable and self-assured Security Professionals to serve at various healthcare establishments in the region. This encompasses hospitals, private clinics, long-term care facilities, and more. Our management team collaborates with employees to identify a role and location that aligns with their personal lifestyles.

This role operates on a 4 on, 4 off schedule, alternating between day and night shifts (2 nights and 2 days).

On Call Security Officers receive a guaranteed base pay during all on-call hours. This rate increases to the site-specific rate when called in for shifts, which occurs nearly every day. Employees may need to travel over 50km one-way from their base location, and travel expenses are reimbursed.

Working in Healthcare Security can be both physically and emotionally challenging. Security Professionals are tasked with delivering support, empathy, customer service, and ensuring public safety for healthcare staff, visitors, clients, and patients alike. The dynamic settings our Security Professionals operate in can be both rewarding and stimulating, yet also demanding. Our top-tier Healthcare managers provide around-the-clock support for our staff, focusing on proactively reducing risks and offering real-time guidance during incidents.

A typical day for a Healthcare Security Officer includes:

While your specific responsibilities may vary by location, you can anticipate performing the following tasks:
  • Facilitate access control into and out of the facility, including restricted areas.
  • Monitor and react to incidents identified on the premises, including through surveillance.
  • Conduct regular patrols of the facility, checking for potential risks such as unlocked doors, obstructed entrances/exits, mechanical issues, hazardous materials, and security breaches.
  • Respond to alarms and emergency requests for assistance.
  • Investigate and document any irregularities encountered during your duties.
  • Ensure patient safety by monitoring and reporting incidents as necessary.
