We are seeking a highly skilled Data Governance Expert to join our team and help shape the future of data management at Manulife. As a key member of our Global Data Governance team, you will play a critical role in driving the adoption of our data governance and data quality framework across the enterprise.
Key Responsibilities:- Support the deployment of our data governance agenda globally to accelerate trust and utilization of data.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to continuously refine our global data quality framework and drive adoption through the development of playbooks, accelerators, and training programs.
- Engage with partners at various levels of the organization to guide them in identifying critical data elements and setting up metrics linking data quality to business value.
- Conduct hands-on data analysis to address high-priority data quality issues from issue identification through root cause analysis to issue resolution.
- Implement global data governance metrics and oversight mechanisms to ensure delivery of target outcomes through the Data Governance program.
- 5+ years of experience in data governance and data management related roles in a large multinational organization.
- Mastery of data governance concepts and technologies, with hands-on experience using leading data quality software and data visualization products at scale.
- Familiarity with foundational data architecture concepts and Cloud technology is a plus.
- Practical experience with data wrangling, analytics, and dashboard design.
- A competitive salary range of $00 CAD - $171,210.00 CAD, depending on local market conditions and relevant job-related factors.
