About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Certified Dental Assistant to join our team at Dentalcorp Health Services Ltd. As a Certified Dental Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our dental professionals in delivering high-quality services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare patients for dental examinations and ensure their comfort and safety throughout the process.
  • Prepare dental instruments and filling materials to ensure they are clean and ready for use.
  • Sterilize and maintain instruments and equipment to prevent the spread of infection and ensure a clean working environment.
  • Take and develop X-rays to assist in diagnosing dental issues and creating treatment plans.
  • Record dental procedures performed on patients to maintain accurate records and ensure continuity of care.
Requirements
  • Registration with provincial or territorial authorities to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent oral communication skills to effectively interact with patients, dentists, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Excellent written communication skills to maintain accurate records and communicate with patients and colleagues.
