We are seeking a skilled Bakery Labourer to join our team at Balkana European Bakery. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our bakery.
Key Responsibilities- Transportation and Handling: Transport raw materials, finished products, and packaging materials to and from the production area.
- Machine Operation: Measure and dump ingredients into hoppers of mixing and grinding machines, and remove filled containers from conveyors.
- Packaging and Quality Control: Manually pack goods into bags and boxes or other containers, and check products and packaging for basic quality defects.
- Cleaning and Maintenance: Clean machines and immediate work areas to maintain a safe and efficient working environment.
- Team Support: Assist process control and machine operators in performing their duties.
Our bakery operates in a hot environment, and you will be required to work in a fast-paced production setting. You will be expected to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) and perform repetitive tasks.
Requirements- Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required.
- Experience: Willingness to train and learn is essential.
- Language: English is the primary language spoken in the workplace.
- Work Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.
