Job Title: Maintenance Coordinator

Job Summary:

The Maintenance Coordinator plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our maintenance activities. This position requires strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide work package support to Ship Maintenance Leads and the Service Delivery team, ensuring timely completion of maintenance activities.
  • Coordinate with Technical Support Network (TSN) subcontractors to manage and deliver quality maintenance services.
  • Manage special tools and test equipment loaned to TSN subcontractors, ensuring their safe and efficient use.
  • Oversee the management of materials expended or returned by TSN subcontractors, ensuring accurate tracking and reporting.
  • Assist Ship Maintenance Leads in generating and managing reports, as well as managing additional documentation required for each work period.

Requirements:

  • Strong computer literacy, with experience using Microsoft products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Previous experience in procurement, project management, or warehouse environments is highly desirable.
  • Minimum of two years' experience working in the Military or a Defence Contract or Project is desirable.
  • Experience with the Defense Resource Management Information System (DRMIS) or comparable document management systems is advantageous.
  • Experience working in SAP or comparable Enterprise Resource Planning or Asset Management software is advantageous.

Special Requirements:

  • Will be required to undertake inspections, including confined space entry, on naval ships involving bending and twisting.
