Maintenance Coordinator Job Description

Thales is seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our Service Delivery team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our maintenance activities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide work package support to Ship Maintenance Leads and the broader Service Delivery team.
  • Manage and coordinate assigned Technical Support Network (TSN) subcontractors during each work period.
  • Ensure TSNs complete all agreed maintenance activities to the required quality in a safe and environmentally friendly manner.
  • Manage all special tools and test equipment loaned to TSNs.
  • Manage all material expended or returned by TSNs.
  • Assist Ship Maintenance Leads in generating and managing reports, as well as managing additional documentation required to facilitate and close out each work period.
Requirements:
  • Strong computer literacy, with proven experience with Microsoft products, especially Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience within procurement, project management, or warehouse environments is highly desirable.
  • Minimum of two years previous experience working within the Military or a Defence Contract or Project is desirable.
  • Experience with the Defense Resource Management Information System (DRMIS) or comparable document management system is advantageous.
  • Experience working in SAP or comparable Enterprise Resource Planning or Asset Management software is advantageous.
  • Previous experience in ship-refit and repair activities is advantageous.
