About the Role

This dynamic role involves providing comprehensive end-user support, encompassing hardware, software tools, and solutions, as well as network and internet technical services. As a Junior Systems Administrator, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving technical issues, maintaining network security, and ensuring the smooth operation of our IT systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support to end-users, resolving hardware and software issues in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Configure and maintain network devices, including routers, switches, and firewalls.
  • Implement and enforce network security protocols to protect against cyber threats.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify and resolve technical issues.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest IT trends and technologies to ensure our systems remain secure and efficient.

Requirements

  • Two-year diploma in Computer Technology or a related field from a recognized post-secondary institution.
  • One year of related experience in a similar role.
  • Valid Class 5 driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
  • Ability to pass a full Police Service security clearance, including a polygraph examination.
