Job Title: Housekeeping Supervisor

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team at Knight Hotel Inc.

Job Summary:

The Housekeeping Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our housekeeping department, ensuring that all rooms and public areas are clean and well-maintained. This is a key role that requires strong leadership and communication skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Hire, train, and supervise a team of housekeeping staff to ensure that all rooms and public areas are clean and well-maintained.
  • Inspect sites or facilities to ensure safety and cleanliness standards are met.
  • Prepare budget and cost estimates for cleaning supplies and services.
  • Recommend or arrange for additional services required such as painting, repair work, renovations or replacement of furnishings and equipment.
  • Maintain accurate financial records and receive payment for specialized cleaning jobs.
  • Assist housekeeping staff in performing duties as needed.
  • Co-ordinate work activities with other departments to ensure seamless operations.
  • Establish work schedules and ensure that all staff are aware of their responsibilities.
Requirements:
  • 3-4 years of experience in a housekeeping or facilities management role.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy loads.
Working Conditions:

  • Physically demanding role requiring manual dexterity and ability to lift heavy loads.
  • Combination of sitting, standing, and walking throughout the day.

Experience:
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a housekeeping or facilities management role.
