Retail Store Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Retail Store Supervisor to join our team at Southpoint Station Liquor Store. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our store, ensuring exceptional customer service, and driving sales growth.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and Train Staff: Lead and motivate a team of sales associates, providing guidance and support to ensure they meet sales targets and provide excellent customer service.
- Assign Sales Workers to Duties: Effectively manage the workload of sales associates, ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Hire and Train New Staff: Recruit, interview, and train new staff members to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in their roles.
- Establish Work Schedules: Create and manage work schedules to ensure adequate staffing levels and minimize labor costs.
- Resolve Customer Issues: Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner, ensuring that issues are resolved promptly and to the customer's satisfaction.
- Organize and Maintain Inventory: Oversee the receipt, storage, and distribution of inventory, ensuring that stock levels are maintained and that products are rotated regularly.
- Supervise Office and Volunteer Staff: Manage the work of office and volunteer staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a retail management role.
- Language: English.
- Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
- Fast-Paced Environment: Work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
- Attention to Detail: Maintain attention to detail in a busy retail environment.
- Combination of Sitting, Standing, Walking: Perform a combination of sitting, standing, and walking throughout the workday.
- Client Focus: Provide exceptional customer service and maintain a client-focused approach.
- Flexibility: Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced retail environment.
- Organized: Maintain a high level of organization and attention to detail.
- Reliability: Demonstrate reliability and a strong work ethic.
- Team Player: Work effectively as part of a team to achieve sales targets and provide excellent customer service.
