We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Nursing Unit Clerk. This is a Casual opportunity, which means you will have the flexibility to work a variety of shifts and hours.
Key Responsibilities- Perform a range of clerical duties to support the operation of a patient care area, including prioritizing and processing physicians' orders, acting as a communication link, and scheduling appointments.
- Assemble and maintain patient charts, input data, and transcribe information into relevant systems.
- Provide administrative support, including data entry, filing, and preparing reports.
- Maintain accurate timekeeping records and submit payroll information.
- Observe patient call signals and relay messages to relevant personnel.
- Completion of Grade 12
- A current Typing Test of 40 wpm or greater completed within the past 48 months from a recognized institution
- A Nursing Unit Clerk Certificate
- Resume and Cover Letter stating availability to start in a new position
