Job Summary

Cobrafer Construction Ltd. is seeking a skilled Sheet Metal Fabricator to join our team. As a Sheet Metal Fabricator, you will be responsible for fabricating and assembling sheet metal products according to specifications and building codes. This is a permanent position with a 40-hour workweek.

Key Responsibilities
  • Fabricate and assemble sheet metal products using power tools and hand tools.
  • Inspect products to ensure quality and conformity to specification.
  • Develop computerized patterns and layouts for sheet metal products.
  • Operate CADD and other computer software systems.
  • Fit and join sheet metal parts.
  • Install sheet metal products according to specifications and building codes.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications.
Requirements
  • 5 years or more of experience in sheet metal fabrication.
  • College/CEGEP diploma in a related field.
  • Excellent manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
