About the Team and Role:
The marketing division at eBay Canada is seeking a Marketing Manager for Trading Cards & Collectibles to design and execute market entry strategies for our Trading Cards & Collectibles categories. In this position, you will oversee all facets of campaign management — from planning and briefing to execution and optimization. Reporting to the Senior Marketing Manager, you will collaborate across functions to develop and implement strategic marketing initiatives across various media and creative channels (including email, onsite, performance marketing, incentives, and more). While experience in the category is not mandatory, a strong desire to learn about the business, our customers, and our communities is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
Spearhead the formulation of marketing strategies and the execution of cross-channel market entry plans for Trading Cards & Collectibles in collaboration with the vertical lead. Oversee the comprehensive execution of marketing campaigns, including the creation of marketing briefs, creative development, onsite execution, and performance reporting. Develop and implement a quarterly incentive strategy, which includes planning, forecasting, campaign setup, terms creation, quality assurance, asset creation, and reporting. Assist with any onsite or content modifications affecting the vertical (product updates, platform changes, etc.) by collaborating with product, legal, and vertical partners to review and implement updates to webpages, FAQs, and program terms. Foster connections with our enthusiast communities by organizing and executing live events in partnership with external experiential agencies and vertical leads. Collaborate closely with PR/comms and social teams on influencer or media campaigns related to Trading Cards & Collectibles to ensure consistent messaging.Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree with 3-5+ years of experience in market entry planning, execution, full-funnel marketing, retail marketing, or a related field. A self-motivated individual who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment. Proven experience in managing projects from inception to completion, navigating ambiguity, and maintaining accountability. A customer-focused mindset, with a track record of managing performance against established metrics while ensuring exceptional customer experiences and high-quality deliverables. Demonstrated project management skills; strong organizational abilities, flawless execution, and capacity to plan, prioritize, and adapt plans as necessary.
